ViDiS SA collects and processes personal data in connection with:

  1. warranty and post-warranty repairs and technical support
  2. sales of its products and services through its B2B systems, including without limitation order processing and communication with customers
  3. marketing operations
  4. contacting customers using online forms
  5. business relations and transactions.

Which types of personal data are collected and processed by ViDiS SA ?

ViDiS SA collects and processes personal data at the minimum scope required for the purpose to which it is collected.

Depending on the purpose of data collection and the legal basis for its collection and processing, ViDiS SA may collect and process the following types of data:

  1. personally identifying information, including without limitation: first name, surname,
  2. contact details, including without limitation: address, telephone number, e-mail address,
  3. nformation that identifies business entities, including without limitation: business name, business address, NIP (VAT identification number), REGON (business registration number).

If data is obtained from the entity you represent, PDC shall collect your first name, surname, telephone number, email address and position.
Prospective business partners Your data is obtained directly from you or from publicly accessible sources. In the latter case, PDC shall collect the following personal data: first name, surname, business name, telephone number, email address, position.
Users of our online forms Your data is collected directly from you using the online form or when responding to your query or request submitted to it using the contact form.
Addressees of our marketing operations Your data may be obtained:

2. from the entity you represent (first name, surname, telephone number, email address, position);

Is it obligatory for you to provide your data to us ?

Customers: Your providing the information necessary to perform the contract is a necessary condition for its execution. If you refuse to provide the information, it will not be possible for you to use the service or receive our invoices.
Business partners: Your providing the information necessary to draw up and submit our quote to you and subsequently to execute and perform the contract is a necessary condition for contract execution. If you refuse to provide it, it will not be possible to provide you with our quote and to execute the contract.
Business partner representatives, contact persons Your providing your personal data directly to PDC is optional and voluntary. It should be remembered though that PDC may need your personal details to perform the contract executed with the entity you represent. If you do not provide it, it may be difficult to perform the contract.
Prospective business partners Your providing your personal data directly to PDC is optional and voluntary. It should be remembered though that without your details we will be unable to submit our quote and execute the contract with you.
Users of our online forms Your providing your data is necessary for us to provide you with our answer to your query/request. If you do not provide your data, we will be unable to answer your query or request.
Addressees of our marketing operations Your providing your personal data is optional and voluntary.

Who may ViDiS disclose your personal data to?

Your personal data may be accessed by:

  1. PDC's employees and partners authorised by PDC to process your personal data
  2. third parties commissioned by PDC to process your personal data, without limitation including:
    1. suppliers of technical or administrative services (such as ICT service providers, providers of postal, courier or delivery services)
    2. providers of legal and consultancy services, without limitation in an event if ViDiS SA desires to exercise its claims related to its business or to defend itself from any legal claims
    3. other entities, individuals or administrative bodies, at the scope and on the terms specified by relevant regulations, provided that making your data accessible to them is in full compliance with the applicable laws and all applicable data security measures have been applied.

Would your personal data be transferred to any countries outside the european economic area(I.E. to any countries outside the european union member states, Iceland, Norway or Lichtenstein) ?

Which roghts do you have in connection with your data being processed by ViDis SA ?

If your data is processed by ViDiS SA, you have the following rights:

  2. right to correct your personal data (Article 16 of the GDPR)
  3. right to request that your data be deleted under the circumstances specified in Article 17 (1), subject to the exceptions set forth in Article 17 (3) of the GDPR
  4. right to demand that the processing of your data be limited under the circumstances specified in Article 17 of the GDPR
  5. right to move your data under the circumstances specified in Article 20 of the GDPR.

If PDC processes your personal data based on a consent you provided, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Please be advised though that such withdrawal shall not have any effect over the legitimacy of processing of your data based on your consent given prior to the date on which you withdraw that consent.

Will your data be used for automated decision-making(i.e. decision-making process performed without human intervention)

No, your personal data will not be used for automated decision-making (i.e. decision-making processes performed without human intervention), such as automated profiling.

Your right to file your objection

In addition, ViDiS SA hereby advises you that due to your special circumstances you may object to having your data processed, which includes its use for profiling, if PDC processes your data on any of the following grounds:

  1. processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller (Article 6 (1) letter e of the GDPR),
  2. processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller (Article 6 (1) letter f of the GDPR).

As soon as you have filed your objection, ViDiS SA shall not be able to process your personal data on the grounds listed above, unless it proves the existence of material and legitimate grounds for data processing that override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

If ViDiS SA processes your data for direct marketing purposes, you may object to having your data processed by ViDiS SA for direct marketing purposes.

Security of personal data

ViDiS SA uses appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure security of your personal data. Without limitation, they include securing them against unauthorised access or destruction. In the interest of the security of your data at ViDiS SA, the company has implemented relevant personal, organisational, technical and physical security measures, including certain appropriate information technology data security solutions.
